the network
Women in Impact Investing Europe is a member-run network that seeks to empower and connect women professionals across the continent in the field of impact investing.
By fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and developing alliances, WII Europe aims to build a more inclusive and sustainable investment landscape that prioritises social and environmental impact.
The community began in Spain, in 2023, and has since expanded to the Netherlands, France and Portugal.

Inaugural Gathering – WII, NL
The first-ever WII, NL meeting was generously hosted by Blink C.V. at their beautiful Amsterdam offices. We were thrilled to welcome 30+ inspiring women from across the Dutch impact investing ecosystem—including institutional investors, VC and PE firms, foundations, corporates, angel networks, and family offices. Members took the time to connect personally, share aspirations, and explore what we each hope to gain from this vibrant new community.

Environmental Impact – Fireside Chat & Networking
Partners in Equity and Blume Equity co-hosted an event focused on scaling environmental impact in the Netherlands. The evening opened with a fireside chat featuring Joline (COO, ChainCraft) and Fiona (CEO, Overstory), who shared insights from leading climate scale-ups. The conversation continued over drinks and canapés with 30+ attendees from across the impact investing space.

Carbon Equity hosted an intimate, interactive session exploring impact assessment across the investment spectrum—from founders to fund-of-funds. Carbon Equity’s COO shared her personal journey, followed by a hands-on session using a real portfolio case to explore how measurable impact is evaluated. The evening closed with drinks and networking.

Mobilising Capital for Systemic Change – Panel Discussion & Networking
An insightful evening hosted by Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Banking, welcoming 40+ women from across the impact investing ecosystem. The discussion explored mobilising capital for systemic change, engaging asset owners, and tracking progress with meaningful KPIs. Special thanks to moderator Eszter Vitorino Fuleky (Impact Lead, Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Banking) and panelists Ana Pimenta (Chief Impact Strategist, Blink), Xenia Loos (Co-creator, collective action), and Narina Mnatsakanian (Chief Impact Officer, Regeneration.VC) for deepening the dialogue on moving from ambition to action in impact investing.

ClientEarth Breakfast: Legal Accountability for Environmental Change Women in Impact Investing, Spain members welcomed ClientEarth for an inspiring breakfast conversation on using law as a catalyst for systemic environmental change. The ClientEarth team shared how legal action holds governments and companies accountable—moving beyond corporate promises to enforceable outcomes. The discussion deepened our understanding of how impact investors can leverage legal frameworks and policy change as investment thesis drivers.

The conversation revealed the motivations, challenges, and pivotal moments that shaped their investment approach—offering authentic insights for women at all stages of their impact journey. Ask & Give Workshop: Building Community Through Generosity The Women in Impact Investing, Spain chapter hosted an innovative Ask & Give workshop, facilitated by Anne Rambaud and Clara de Bienassis. This 90-minute session transformed simple Post-it notes into powerful catalysts for connection, as members simultaneously shared their expertise and vulnerably asked for support. Participants left with new connections, actionable insights, and renewed energy for collective impact.
